The Flow Arts Institute hosts seven annual festivals around the United States.

What makes our festivals different from the others? As the largest network of connected flow festivals in the country, we compound the innovations and excellence of each event by sharing between them. Having put on over 50 festivals, we have plenty of experience in getting it right. From a diversity of high-level teachers and workshop content down to the details of an industry-leading Fire Safety Protocol, art grants, and top-quality performance ‘Flowcases,’ we go the extra distance to make your festival experience awesome. We regularly offer the one-of-a-kind opportunity to Firewalk at our festivals for no extra cost. Come to any of our events and experience it for yourself: we are passionate about making the best possible flow festival!

More About Our Festivals

FLAME Festival

FLAME Festival, Flow Arts Movement Exchange, is the largest fire festival in the Southeast. Every year on the 2nd weekend of April we gather at Cherokee Farms to celebrate the new festival season. Choose from over 100 workshops covering a wide variety of props and skill levels, check out the latest wares from awesome vendors, watch fantastical performances, and play in the fire circle with all your friends. Join us and hundreds of other like-minded artists at our next event!

Kinetic Fire

Kinetic Fire is a 4 day fire performer’s paradise held at our new venue Stable Studios, in Spencer, Indiana. The event is designed to provide a fun and open-share communal environment in which object manipulators and fire artists from all over the Midwest and the world can learn, teach, and advance together in the fire and flow arts. Kinetic Fire focuses on an amazing workshop program, high energy performances, and designated spin time with quality music. Fire enthusiasts, jugglers, and prop manipulators of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in this exciting opportunity for growth and development with other motivated members of the fire and flow arts family at one of the largest annual gatherings for fire dancers in the United States. Come and learn, play, laugh, and grow with us, at Kinetic Fire!

FireDrums

California's first and longest running fire arts and flow festival.

Fahrenheit

Fahrenheit Fire & Flow Arts Festival is a 4-Day Annual Mid-Atlantic fire and flow arts retreat that boasts highly unique workshops throughout the day and curates the experience of live fire performance at night.

CampFire

Tucked away under massive oak trees, Harmony Park Music Garden, a beautiful venue in Geneva, Minnesota is a home away from home for flow and movement artists of all kinds.

CampFire Retreat’s goal is to bring the community together to expand our understanding of movement-based knowledge through education offered in workshops and peer sharing. Refine your technique and meet others passionate about their art.

CampFire has hosted some of the most experienced instructors, performers, and students from all across the country. Camp under the stars for three nights and two full days of flow, aerial, yoga, acro, and circus workshops, plus performances, music, fire circles, firewalking, vendors, and more.

Pacific Fire Gathering

Pacific Fire Gathering (PFG) is the second Flow Arts Institute event and one of the longest running flow and fire festivals in the country, established in 2010.

Held annually in September on the pristinely beautiful Oregon coast, PFG is for fire dancers, jugglers, movement artists, and circus enthusiasts to co-create a state of flow! Come join our magical, bubble filled happy place to focus on your art and leave the distractions of the busy world behind.

We support all skill levels, from beginner to expert and everyone in between.

Flashepoint is gathering of innovative flow artists and jugglers from all over the country and world, coming together for a weekend of exploration in the beautiful Virginian mountains with a particular focus on community development and social experimentation.
