Josh Tempest breaks down the horizontal ollie in today’s tutsday feature. It starts off in horizontal floor plane split time to the left out in front and to the right.  Once you enter split time, catch your right poi with your left by throwing it into the open space. Instead of catching on your wrist, catch with the string. Your right poi will stay on top while your left stays on the bottom. The move will look better if you keep your elbows out. The closer your hands are to the handles, the cleaner your moves will look. The important part to this is holding the tension to create a spinning object in the center.

If you want to untangle, reach your right arm or top arm up and cross your arms to open the horizontal ollie up. Hopefully this helps and we would love to see some variations.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
