Happy Tutsday!
Ready to learn a swifty poi trick?
Greg is here to show us a slick combo called a snake air wrap.
The prerequisites to this trick are split time, same direction and snakes.
As you snake, one will be going over your shoulder, while one will be going underneath your armpit.
As this movement flows, the one over your shoulder will trace your near head, so you can grab the ball underneath your armpit with your other poi (behind your back). Once the tether is engaged, use the force to bring the other one in front of your body. Finish this trick by using momentum to turn your wrists so they detach.
Show us your version of this trick! We would love to see it! Create an Instagram or Facebook video and tag @flowartsintitute and hashtag #tutsday.

Greg picked up poi as a path towards sobriety in 2011. His first flow festival was Kinetic Fire in 2015, which was also the first time Greg has ever traveled more than two hours from home. Kinetic Fire gave him a paradigm shift to begin instructing, performing, and traveling the country.
Boogie woogie, my friends.
